Taco Wars is back! Join us in Downtown Shreveport on Saturday, April 27, 2024, as local taquerias battle it out for The Golden Taco, the most coveted taco prize in the world!
Taco lovers from all walks of life are invited to join us for an exciting evening of tacos, salsa, drinks, music, and voting!
ADMISSION TO THIS EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! Tacos, drinks, and other items will be served through a ticket system. Purchase tickets at the door for $1 and exchange them for food, drinks, merchandise, etc.
All attendees receive a Best Salsa Voting Token which can be used to vote for the Best Salsa competition. Tacos are judged by a group of guest judges from across the South. Each taqueria must submit one taco from their Taco Wars menu for consideration for the Best Taco competition. Winners of the Best Taco competition will be awarded $1,000 and winners of the Best Salsa competition will receive $500.
Taquerias keep 90% of the revenue from tacos sold at their tent. Come out and support these amazing local businesses at Taco Wars 2024!
