Citizen Science Saturdays

Saturdays • 11 a.m. Citizen Science Initiative • 2 p.m. Bird Walk
Free with Center admission
Leave your mark on science by collecting and submitting data for active research projects from around the world! Rotating programs include identifying animals caught on trail cameras in Africa, recording data on insects and searching for galaxies. Stick around for a guided bird walk at 2 p.m., after which you can submit your observations to an online database.

First Saturday of the month: Collect data about ants and other insects.
Second Saturday of the month: Look for evidence of dust rings around distant stars.
Third Saturday of the month: Identify species caught on trail cameras in Kenya.
Fourth Saturday of the month: Search for and classify galaxies.
Fifth Saturday of the month: Wildcard citizen science.
