Hotel Horrors at The Remington

Join us for a night of Hotel Horrors as the Historic Remington Hotel presents its first-ever Halloween celebration! We’re transforming The Remington into the Overlook Hotel from Stephen King’s The Shining to host what is sure to be the highlight of your Halloween weekend!

Take the Hotel Horror Tour to see what haunts await throughout The Remington. Local master of horrors Douglass Cobb of NecroManor Haunted House will be transforming a room into a mini-haunt and shuttling nightmare-seekers to the Necromanor in Bossier City throughout the night! Local artisan Wendy Leaumont will be hosting a room full of hand-crafted horrors to thrill and delight, and the Zombee Mama suite hosted byZombee Candle‘s Kate Hesson will be gifting visitors with exclusive Halloween scented products. BEWARE: the gang’s all here! Jack, Wendy, Danny, Dick Halloran, The Grady Twins, and Lloyd the Bartender will join you as you complete your Hotel Horror Tour, acting out iconic scenes from Stanley Kubric’s legendary film adaptation of The Shining.

We didn’t forget the kiddos; our party will be KID FRIENDLY from 6-8p. We’ve turned our media theater into the famous Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, replete with a 12′ screen, a PlayStation, and the original Five Night’s at Freddy’s game. Kids are encouraged to dress like their favorite FNAF character.

Our feature party presentation will take place on the rooftop from 8-10p as we host Zombee Mama’s 10th Annual Halloween bash! Since 2006, Kate Hesson, owner/operator of Zombee Candle in Shreveport, has hosted an array of Halloween-themed parties. This year, the Queen of Halloween will be lighting up her Zombees and celebrating 10 years of Halloween fun at The Remington; the rooftop bash will feature DJ Juan Solo, a cash bar featuring themed cocktails by The Remington’s Beverage Director Alvin Scott, limited edition Halloween ice cream flavors for sale by Highland Cream, and Zombee Mama’s traditional Black Magic Sangria.
