Friends of Shreve Memorial Library Spring Book Sale
The Friends of Shreve Memorial Library Spring Book Sale will be held on Saturday, April 22 from noon to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 23 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Main Branch, 424 Texas St., in downtown Shreveport.
It’s back and it’s big! The giant BOOK SALE at the downtown branch of the Shreve Memorial Library is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, April 22 and 23. Hours Saturday are noon to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 23 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
There IS a way to get first dibs! For $5 (a Friends of the Shreve Memorial Library membership), you can attend the preview sale on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Good stuff to know- the Book Sale is in the basement; you will see signs guiding you to the right place. CASH is always welcome. Bring study bags to carry your books. They have boxes, but fabric bags seem more convenient.
The sale includes over 50,000 items, with everything from bestsellers to children’s books to CDs, DVDs, and Blu-rays. Do NOT miss this sale!
