Shreveport Sounds: A Music History Symposium
Hosted by Twisted Root Burger Co, Shreveport/Bossier Music Museum Coalition, Norla Preservation Project, and Shreve Memorial Library
Shreveport Sounds: A Music History Symposium will investigate the history of North Louisiana’s various decades of music and musicians. The one-day symposium will take place in Shreveport on Friday, November 3rd, and will feature lectures, discussions, tours, films, and musical performances.
$75 Symposium Registration 8 am-5 pm
$25 Luncheon Only 12-1 pm
Shreveport Music POP-UP Museum from 1-4 pm at Shreve Memorial Library. Explore Shreveport, past and present, in this unique, one-day only, pop-up museum experience featuring exclusive viewing of music memorabilia at Shreve Memorial Library.
Driving tours at 2 and 3:30 to see the Municipal Auditorium, the Calanthean Temple, and more. Free for attendees.
