About ShrevePark

ShrevePark was established in 2000 to enhance on-street parking in the Central Business District. A six-member staff manages enforcement and collections for program. ShrevePark is funded through contract with the City of Shreveport.

ShrevePark works to help make finding a parking space at one of downtown’s 800 meters faster and more convenient for downtown patrons and visitors.

ShrevePark’s efforts to help create more-convenient on-street parking has consistently increased revenue relative to coinage and collection of citations. Total revenue collection in 2009 was $633,272. All coinage and citation revenue is dedicated to a special fund to encourage and develop downtown parking opportunities.
