Plants are growing at Cotton St. Farms, downtown’s first urban hydroponic farm. Several of the items- mint, basil and cucumber- are already being used at several downtown businesses including the Noble Savage Tavern (on pizzas) and Stray Cat (in drinks).

Pansies, Bright Lights Swiss Chard, and Jalafuego Peppers, microgreens and perhaps even mushrooms are in the queue. As products become available, they will be listed in the Marketplace section of the Cotton St. Farms website. See what’s going on at Cotton St. Farms at the November Downtown Artwalk on Wednesday, Nov. 6 from 5-8 pm. Tours will be given so you can see what’s growing!
