Kiwanis Club of Shreveport Announces 46th Annual Pancake Breakfast
The Kiwanis Club of Shreveport will host its 46th Annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, March 19, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. until noon at Riverview Hall on Clyde Fant Parkway. Funds raised during this event are used to support Key Clubs and Builders Clubs in area high schools and middle schools, TERRIFIC Kids and BUGs (Bring Up Grades) programs in local elementary schools, college scholarships, and other Kiwanis service activities and programs. Patrons are welcome to all the pancakes, sausage, coffee, etc., they care to eat. Tickets are $5 in advance and $6 at the door.
Delicious food, local vendors, play area with a bouncy house, face painting, balloons, & games for children, a variety of entertainment including music by Pastor Ron Hampton of New Vision Community Church.
The Kiwanis Pancake 5K Run will be held at 8:30 that morning. Interested parties may contact SportSpectrum or go their website, www.sportspectrumusa.com, to register for and/or get more information about the run.
