Celebration of Women’s Week Kickoff Breakfast

The Shreveport Mayor’s Women’s Commission will begin its annual Celebration of Women’s Week with a Kickoff Breakfast. National Women’s History Month’s theme this year is honoring women in public service. We will celebrate Shreveport’s own women in public service: Mayor Ollie Tyler will be our guest of honor and our guest speaker will be Shreveport Fire Department’s Chief of Fire Prevention, Patricia Dyas. Our Mistress of Ceremonies will be KSLA Anchorwoman, Domonique Benn, and Centenary College Chaplain, Valerie Robideaux, will do our Invocation . Each guest will take home a Zombee candle, made especially for this event! Celebrate our local woman heroes while eating delicious breakfast with us! What could be cooler than that?
