minicine? invites all to experience the work of Dan Anderson and the beats of DJ Nathan Treme Saturday, April 2, 2016.

Dan Anderson is a filmmaker, curator and media installation artist. Between 2009-2011, he served as the Festival Director of the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival before returning to school to earn an MFA in Electronic Integrated Arts from Alfred University (NY) in 2015. He has also programmed for the Arkansas Underground Film Festival and Bearded Child Film Festival. Dan presented a Bearded Child Film Festival program with minicine? in 2008.

Dan’s movies are often inspired by rural America and lonely travels through foreign lands. Several of the works are experimental documentaries, with a dreamy, Surrealist flow. While the more narrative works have an absurdist, David Lynch quality that is completely unique.

Nathan Treme is a Shreverport based graphic designer, artist, musician. Nathan will provide live DJ beats throughout the night. https://treme.bandcamp.com/
