Are you a high school student burning to make a film? Are you a high school teacher or faculty member wanting to help guide a group through the collaborative, creative entrepreneurial exercise of filmmaking? Then, get ready! Film Prize Jr. is about to begin its inaugural year in conjunction with Artbreak!
To learn more about this first year, the rules, the resources, and more, we invite you to the Film Prize Jr. Informational Meetup on Tuesday, October 25th at 5:30pm at SRAC’s Central Artstation.
We will also assess the needs of student filmmakers in preparation for our workshop on November 21st!
– Filmmakers must have a teacher or faculty member sponsor who will register the project and be the liaison between the students and the Film Prize office.
– The film must be between 3-10 minuets in length and made by in Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, DeSoto, Lincoln, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine, or Webster parishes by students of those parishes.
– Content must be PG.
– Register and turn in a script by Wednesday, December 21, 2016.
– Turn in your final film by Wednesday, April 5th, 2017.
