Don’t miss the must-see performance of the holiday season as Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet brings The Nutcracker to life at Shreveport’s Riverview Theater.

Friday, December 9th at 7:30pm
Saturday, December 10th at 3:00pm
Sunday, December 11th at 3:00pm.
Professional guest artists Anais Chalendard and Patrick Yocum of Boston Ballet join SMB with a cast of more than 100 local dancers in this holiday classic led by Artistic Director Kendra Meiki. The Shreveport Symphony Orchestra conducted by SMB Music Director Kermit Poling will accompany the performances on Friday, December 9th and Sunday, December 11th.
Special events for the 2016 production include a cash bar – sponsored by T&M Fence Co. – during the Friday evening performance and the Sugar Plum Fairy Tea – sponsored by Strawn’s Eat Shop – Sunday, December 11th at 1:30 pm.
Tickets for The Nutcracker and the Sugar Plum Fairy Tea go on sale October 3rd. Performance tickets range from $16 through $42. Tickets for the tea are $16 each or $105 for a reserved table for 8.
