First Annual Foot Pursuit 5K

Team up with the community for the First Annual Foot Pursuit 5K! This 5K run is an event that will raise funds for the 2017 NWLA LEW United Annual Scholarship. In May of 2017, NWLA LEW will award one lucky senior, whose parent or guardian is a current or retired law enforcement officer, a $1000 scholarship. Show your support for our local law enforcement officers by helping send one of their children to college!

Date & Starting Time: Saturday, November 19th; 5K starts at 8:00 am at Red River District under the Texas Street Bridge.

Registration: Early Bird 5K Registration is $20 until October 15th. $25 October 16th through November 9th.

Late registration is $30 November 9th through race day. Register online at www.sportspectrumusa.com(online registration closes November 9th at 7:00 a.m. Register early to be guaranteed a race shirt. No shirts guaranteed to late registrants!

Phantom Runner: If you cannot be there you can still show your support! Sign-up as a Phantom Runner. You will get a shirt and race packet without breaking a sweat!

T-shirts & Race Packet Pick-Up: You may pick your packet up at Sportspectrum, Thursday, November 17th from noon-6:00 pm and Friday, November 18th from 10:00 am – 5:30 pm. You may also pick up your packet race day at the race site starting at 7:00 am.

Awards: Overall Male & Female winners in the 5K will receive a medal, Overall Male & Female officer winners in the 5K will receive a medal, and 1st & 2nd Male & Female age group winners will also receive a medal.

Post Party: Join us after the race for refreshments!!

Special Note: Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walk pace capacity only. Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!
