December On The Red: Wrapped In Red

The first three Saturdays in December, head to downtown Shreveport’s newly renovated Riverview Park for free, family-friendly holiday fun during December on the Red. On Saturday, Dec. 17 enjoy “Wrapped in Red,” featuring free Rudolph noses, an Operation Santa Claus gift donation, fire trucks and more. Everyone who attends “Wrapped in Red” is asked to wear all red clothing for a huge group photograph. Activities will begin at 4 p.m.

A free screening of the holiday favorite film Elf will begin at 6 p.m. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy the show! Admission is free and ample free parking will be available nearby. On-site security will be provided. Riverview Park is located at 601 Clyde Fant Parkway in downtown Shreveport.

Head downtown earlier in the day on Saturday, Dec. 17 to enjoy the Holiday Market in the Red River District in downtown Shreveport, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
