2016 Holiday Market in the Red River District

Come celebrate the holidays in the Red River District with the Holiday Market, Saturday, Dec. 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Art vendors, storytelling, holiday spirit and more will be under the Texas Street Bridge during the Red River District’s 2016 Holiday Happenings!

Free to all, activities will include storytelling, street performers, bounce houses and crafts for the kids, as well as Santa Claus, himself!

Red River District food and retail vendors will have special holiday pricing and sales, as well as local artists and vendors set up to offer you the perfect gift for everyone on your list! Families will enjoy:

  • Bounce House
  • Christmas stories read on the stage, Invite Library to come and share holiday-themed books
  • Bookmobile parked by food trucks
  • Kids’ crafts -make-and-take toys
  • Gift wrapping station
  • Spinner performers
  • Santa available for photo ops from 1 p.m.-3 p.m.
  • Two food trucks

There will be on-site around-the-clock security. Free parking is available along Commerce Street, at the parking garage on Clyde Fant Parkway and Milam Street, and at Eldorado Resort Casino attached to the Red River District.

At Riverview Park, there will be a Christmas movie and entertainment from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
