ASIST – Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
About ASIST
ASIST is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first-aid. ASIST teaches participants to recognize when someone may be at risk of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. Although ASIST is widely used by healthcare providers, participants do not need any formal training to attend the workshop—ASIST can be learned and used by anyone. You must attend both days, in order to get credit for the course.
Lunch will be ordered from Bistro to Go.
CEUs
ASIST provides 12 credit hours for a $60 addtional fee. CEUs will be provided by Livingworks, participants can take an online test regarding the workshops materials to obtain their CEUs. More information can be found at : https://www.ceunits.com/
