Be a Fan of Shreveport-Bossier Ambassador Tour: Art & Soul

Hosted by Shreveport-Bossier ~ Louisiana’s Other Side and Be A Fan of Shreveport-Bossierthe quarterly Be a Fan of Shreveport-Bossier Ambassador Tour, Tuesday, May 14 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The theme of this tour is “Art and Soul”. Cost to participate is $25, which includes transportation and lunch.

Experience first-hand the art and soul of Shreveport-Bossier, as we travel to a variety of art-related businesses, museums, and offbeat locales that showcase some of our region’s historic and contemporary visual arts, film arts, music, fashion arts, and culinary arts. Special behind-the-scenes visits include The Agora Borealis, Shreveport Municipal Auditorium, Artspace Shreveport, Parish Taceaux, Robinson Film Center, Louisiana State Exhibit Building, and more. Meet local visual artist Karen LaBeau and folk artist Bertha Harris along the way.

These tours are educational opportunities to learn more about Shreveport-Bossier’s tourism industry. At the conclusion of the tour, participants will receive a Be a Fan of Shreveport-Bossier Ambassador certificate and pin. Please share your experiences on this tour using the hashtag #BeaFanofSB.
