Be a Fan of Shreveport-Bossier Tour: Weird and Wonderful Edition
Shreveport-Bossier celebrates all that is weird and wonderful about the sister cities. Join the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau for this day-long city tour on Tuesday, Nov. 12 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The “Be a Fan of Shreveport-Bossier” Ambassador Program was designed to give those who work in the hospitality industry, as well as interested residents, a chance to learn more about all of the tourism assets in the community. This program is sponsored by the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau.
The cost to attend is $25 and includes transportation, lunch and a guided tour around the cities. Themed tours are offered quarterly. This tour will include stops at the kissing wall at The Strand Theatre of Shreveport, The Logan Mansion, a sneak peek of Sno-Port at Sci-Port Discovery Center, a chance encounter with historic figures buried in Oakland Cemetery, axe-throwing at Bayou Axe Co., plus much more. The tour will include lunch from BeauxJax Crafthouse.
The day will end with participants graduating from the “Be a Fan of Shreveport-Bossier” Ambassador Program and receiving an official pin and certificate.
