CANCELED – Big Scene! Creating in the Common

Hosted by SPAR and 2 others

This event has been canceled due to inclement weather!

Northwest Louisiana artists will animate Shreveport Common by creating work inspired by the history that they SEE, the present that they SEE or the future that they want to SEE for Shreveport Common at the Big SCENE! on April 7.

LIVE painting, poetry writing, music composition, dance composition will be created by what artists SEE in the COMMON. In this “plein aire”- like experience, Artists will be inspired and will inspire visitors, patrons of the Texas Ave Maker’s Fair, residents! Additionally, SRAC will create an easel/paint area for families and children to paint LIVE during the festival!

In June, the Shreveport Regional Arts Council will exhibit the work at the Central ARTSTATION and award prizes!

More Details to come!
