Elana is filled to the brim with knowledge around Italian cooking plus she is super engaging and incredibly funny! She’ll be demoing the perfect Pasta Puttanesca with Tuna as well as a Scropino (trust me, you want this!). Barclay will be rounding out the menu with Fresh Burrata with Tomato Water and Panzanella-Herb Salad. His food is gorgeous, and he’s sure to inspire you to create the perfectly plated dish! Elana (Los Angeles, CA) is the founder of Meal and a Spiel: A Private California Italian Cooking School, inspired by her time spent in Italy during her 20s where she learned to cook from an Italian mamma in a Tuscan villa. A respected expert on healthy cooking, her recipes have appeared in the Huffington Post, Tablet Magazine, The Daily Meal, and in newspapers throughout the country. She is the consulting chef for the UCLA Women’s Cardiovascular Center.
Barclay Dodge (Aspen, CO) has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants from Spain to New York. He’s spent the last thirty years traveling to exotic places from North Africa, the Mediterranean and South East Asia to Central America, Australia, and all over sub-Sahara Africa. His travels and experiences inspire the dishes found at Bosq.
