Disney’s Aladdin Jr ~ presented by Stage Center’s SOPA

Tickets go on sale Monday, October 22 for our School of Performing Arts production of Disney’s Aladdin Jr., with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman, Tim Rice, & Chad Beguelin, and a book by Chad Beguelin. Jared Watson directs, Katie Lerchie choreographs, and musical direction is by Mary Kate McLaurine.

The story you know and love has been given the royal treatment! Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character. Based on the 1992 Academy-Award®-winning film, Disney’s Aladdin Jr., featuring all of the songs from the movie like “A Whole New World”, and all-new songs from the 2014 hit Broadway show, is about the “diamond in the rough” street rat who learns that his true worth lies deep within.

The all-student production stars Nate Bokenfohr, Lachle Boniol, Emma Burney, Olivia Butterman, Cameron Cason (Kassim), Chloe Collins, Finnegan Collins (Sultan), Emma Cate Dailey, Brooklynn Dunn, Rachel Evans, Jordan Farris, Meredith Fisher, Emerson Fite, Mia Gorin, Fordham Hammond (Jafar), John Patrick Haynes (Prince Abdullah), Meghan Hood, Lucas Huertas, Alex Jones, Emerson Jones, Skylann Jousma, Claire Kevil, Mia Kiihnl, Bella Mainiero, Lucas Mainiero (Omar), Miles Mainiero, McKenna Maranto, Dani McAdams, Samuel Menard, Rhys Millen, Madeline Mullins, Jayden Norwood, Owen Osborne (Iago), Cade Ostermeyer (Aladdin), Marguerite Papa (Jasmine), Christian Perkins (Razoul), Alyson Peyton, Parker Raley, Elizabeth Shoup, Selena Simmons (Babkak), Nolan Tomasek (Genie), Leila Walkoviak, Arden Williams, Isabel Wooley, Maximus Wooley
