Faces of Shreveport Common Exhibition Opening

Hosted by Shreveport Regional Arts Council and Shreveport Common

Sixteen artists from Shreveport Regional Arts Council’s ARTIST UP! program are using their art, sculpture, music, poetry, film, and dance to capture the FACES of the “Uncommon, Creative, Cultural Community” of Shreveport Common. They have spent time getting to know and hearing the stories of the owners and residents from Shreveport Common businesses and social service agencies including Epic Aquaria, Korner Lounge, Logan Mansion, Providence House, Visions of Hope, the VOA LightHouse and Mercy Center. On Tuesday, July 30, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Central ArtStation, the ARTIST UP! ARTISTS will exhibit works they have created to celebrate the history, hope, and people of Shreveport Common in the exhibition, THE FACES OF SHREVEPORT COMMON.
