Free King Cake and Visitor Info

You’re invited to sample a free slice of local king cake at the Downtown Shreveport Visitors Center, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Friday, Feb. 14 and Feb. 21. While you’re here, pick up free copies of info-packed publications such as the 2020 Official Visitors’ Guide to Shreveport-Bossier, the 2020 Gris Gris Guide to Mardi Gras in Shreveport-Bossier, and the latest edition of our guide to planning successful family reunions in Shreveport-Bossier.

Free king cake samples will be available while supplies last. Limit one sample per visitor. The Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau is located at 629 Spring Street in downtown Shreveport, directly across from Festival Plaza. The front entrance is located beneath the sign that reads “Tourist Info.” Free parking is available alongside the building’s colorful mural that faces Crockett Street.
