Steadily building a cult following since its unique 35mm-only release in 2016, neo-noir Too Late stars Academy Award nominee John Hawkes as a troubled private eye searching for a missing woman from his own past. Drama, 2015, 107 min., NR.

Writer/director and singer/songwriter Dennis Hauck takes his film Too Late on the road, performing an intimate live acoustic set following each screening, showcasing a collection of original songs including “Halyna Hutchins”, a tribute to his friend and collaborator who was killed on the set of “Rust.”

As a pre-show bonus, see an exclusive sneak peak from AL’s BRAND, Hauck’s in-progress new film featuring 65mm photography by late cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Hailed by the New York Times as “absurdly entertaining,” the Village Voice as “a dazzling debut,” and the LA Times as “a masterwork.”

The screening will be held in Theater 1, RFC’s 124-seat capacity theater. A signature cocktail from Abby Singer’s Bistro will be available.
