Girl Scout Zumbathon Fundraiser

Hosted by Girl Scouts of Louisiana – Pines to the Gulf

Girl Scouts of Louisiana – Pines to the Gulf will host a Zumbathon in the Red River District under the Texas Bridge in downtown Shreveport from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., on Saturday, September 15. Everyone is invited to attend this spicy fundraising event!

With at least a $10 donation, this salsa-themed Zumbathon will include 90 minutes of dancing led by five local Zumba instructors, free refreshments, door prizes, a salsa costume contest, chips and salsa provided by Frida’s Bar and Grill, an assortment of Girl Scout cookies, and more. Cash and card donations will be accepted at the event.

The purpose of this Zumbathon is to spread awareness of your local Girl Scout council and its programs, raise funds that help build the girls of our community into confident leaders and to have a great time while serving our girls. There is no better way to play dress up, accomplish a fun workout and indulge in free chips and salsa. Let’s hear it for the girls!
