In 1970, four 12-year-old girls embark on a summer adventure as they attempt to solve a murder. When not chasing criminals, the girls still find time to play pranks on the town boys, and talk about their rapidly changing lives. Starring Thora Birch, Gaby Hoffmann, Christina Ricci and Ashleigh Aston Moore as the tween girls and Melanie Griffith, Demi Moore, Rosie O’Donnell and Rita Wilson as their grown-up versions 25 years later.
