Help Decorate the Freedom Tree

Help us decorate the Freedom Tree at our Main Branch to honor military members and veterans this Veterans Day!

Our Main Branch is gathering photos of living or deceased military personnel to be made into paper ornaments to go on our Freedom Tree for Veterans Day. The Freedom Tree (or trees, depending on how many photos we collect) will remain up through November to honor our military personnel. If you would like to submit a photo of you or your loved one, please comment with the photo in this Facebook event.

Also include your name and their name, as well as the military branch of service. Beginning November 11, you can visit the Main Branch Third Floor Special Collections Department to see your picture displayed on the tree or trees. The photos would need to be submitted no later than Wednesday, November 7 to have them displayed by Veterans Day (Sunday, November 11).
