The June Artwalk returns to the 600 & 700 blocks of Texas and Travis, home of Artspace Shreveport, Lofts at 624, Marlene Yu Museum, Southern University Museum of Art-Shreveport (SUMAS), Robinson Film Center, Tipitina’s Co-op and a variety of businesses and restaurants!

Our FREE artwalk will put you up close and personal with artists who paint, sculpt, create jewelry and wood-working, photography and more. See what they do and learn how they do it. In addition, Liz will do a History in 5 talk about the old Sears building and the AIA Louisiana– Shreveport chapter wll host another Sketch the City event that will allow you to try your hand at sketching. It’s fun, it’s educational…and you MIGHT be surprised at your talent!

Enjoy food from Parish Taceaux, Rhino Coffee, Abby Singer’s BistroCrystal Stairs and 4 J’s Java & More as you walk, discover, and yes, buy great art! This event is appropriate for all ages.

On street parking is free after 5 pm, and the large lot across from First United Methodist Church will be open and free, as well.
