LANO Institute: Conquering a Capital Campaign

Hosted by Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations (LANO)

To launch a capital campaign is a major decision for any nonprofit. Capital campaigns require considerable financial and human resources, demand a time commitment from the leadership of the organization in order to turn the campaign into a success. This training will help provide the tools and resources best needed to engage your donors and to maximize your volunteer force.

This session will be led by Beverly Brooks Thompson. Beverly Brooks Thompson is a published academic and practitioner in the field of philanthropic leadership. She holds a Doctorate in Human Resource Development specializing in Organizational Leadership with more than 20 years of fundraising campaign experience. Thompson is the President and Executive Counsel of Brooks Thompson Consulting, a national fundraising advising and philanthropic management consulting firm specializing in transformational growth, impact giving, and strategic social engagement serving non-profits, organizations and individual philanthropists.

The cost to attend this training is $45 for members and $60 nonmembers. A continental breakfast will be provided.
