Pints With A Purpose Benefitting La Law Heroes
LA Law Heroes was founded in 2012 by Diana Sanchez-Edwards, a police officer with the Shreveport Police Department. Their running team is mostly comprised of first responders and healthcare professionals, but has grown tremendously over the years to include anyone with a passion for supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Many members have a direct connection to St. Jude through family members and/or friends who’ve benefitted from the care and expertise of the healthcare professionals of St. Jude. Each year in December, they walk or run various distances from 5k, 10k, half marathons, or marathons to show our support for children fighting cancer. Over the years, they’ve visited local children who were being treated at St. Jude during the time of the marathon event. This organization is dedicated in the fight to end childhood cancer, and will run as many miles as it takes because ‘no child should die in the dawn of life’. {Danny Thomas, founder of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital}
Join us as we support LA Law Heroes and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital on June 12 from 5-9PM. A dollar from every Red River beer sold will go directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
