Pre- Parade Party in the District

Heading downtown to watch the Krewe of Gemini parade? Want to get a great parking spot but kill some time before the parade rolls? Looking for a free family event to round out your parade day experience??

Get ready for the big Krewe of Gemini Parade with a fun ‘pre-party’ in the Red River District under the Texas Street Bridge (just steps from the parade route). Enjoy stiltwalkers and face painters, food, beverages, jump houses and live music from 11:30- 3:30 pm. Fun for all ages!  And, when you’re so inspired, take the short walk down Clyde Fant Parkway and see the beautiful Krewe of Centaur floats line up for their 26th parade!
