Sue Perkins and the Chimp Sanctuary

Outside Shreveport, Louisiana, on 200 acres of beautiful, forested sanctuary, more than 250 chimpanzees formerly used in biomedical research are living the good life.

“Sue Perkins and the Chimp Sanctuary” follows English TV personality and animal lover Sue Perkins’s transformative visit to Chimp Haven. In it, you’ll see her experience with several chimpanzees that she met at the sanctuary and hear her observations on how Chimp Haven ensures that each chimpanzee has the opportunity to experience “the chimp life.”

The film is currently airing in the U.K., and screening attendees will be among the first to see it here in the U.S.!

The screening will be followed by interactive stations, presented by Chimp Haven.
