Summer of Glass Exhibition Opening

It’s going to be a full SUMMER OF GLASS, hosted by the Shreveport Regional Arts Council, with International award-winning Northwest Louisiana glass artist Eric Hess and Sanctuary Arts School introducing the art of contemporary glass to the people of Northwest Louisiana.

The Texas Contemporary Glass Exhibition showcases 29 Texas glass artists exhibiting more than 40 works made from 1950 to the present in mainSpace @ artspace. The “Texas Contemporary Glass Exhibition” showcases glass works ranging from blown, spun, hot sculpted, table cast, reverse painting, sand cast, and table cast to neon, vitreography (engraved glass printing) and Pâte de Verre kiln cast.

The contemporary glass art of Eric Hess and business partner and co-founder of Sanctuary Arts School, Michelle Pennington, will be exhibited on the Mezzanine in artspace.

The Exhibition Runs June 7 – August 10
