Unshuttered, Uncovered: NWLA’s Black Photographic Legacy Exhibit
“Unshuttered, Uncovered: Northwest Louisiana’s Black Photographic Legacy” highlights early, black studio photographers from Shreveport and Bossier City. The exhibit features photographs from personal collections as well as local archives. The project is made possible through the sponsorship of the Southern University at Shreveport, Southern University System, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage, and Enterprise Holdings Foundations.
