What’s Happening” Breakfast- Election Issues Impacting Louisiana

This election season, the impact of term limits will mean that almost 1/3 of the Louisiana legislature will be new beginning in January. This new legislature will be poised to tackle a number of critical issues facing our state.

To bring us up to speed, Barry Erwin, CEO of the Committee for a Better Louisiana (CABL) will give a primer on the important issues facing our state and an overview what’s at stake in the next term.

CABL has also partnered with the state Committee of 100 (C100) as well as the Public Affairs Research Council (PAR) to create RESET a targeted, nonpartisan effort focused on four essential issues: state finances, education, transportation infrastructure, and criminal justice/public safety. Barry will provide an update on the RESET initiative and its goal to improve the structure and function of Louisiana State Government.

Get your ticket today so you can be informed and prepared for election day 2019.
