Writer’s Workshop with Jack Bedell

Louisiana Poet Laureate Jack Bedell will conduct a workshop for area literary artists focused on the use of region, culture, and community in the creation of new work. The workshop will include a review of practical poetics, generative writing sessions, and at least one read-around for participants to share work they have created during the workshop. Every poem Bedell has written over the course of his career owes a debt to the region and culture of Louisiana. Jack claims It would be an honor for him to to share his goals and practices with workshop participants.
