It’s going to be a coming out party of sorts for Lake Street Bar– formerly Rydaz- at 315 Lake Street. The bar, like most others, has been closed for months due to Covid restrictions, but that has allowed the owner to complete an extensive rehab of the interior and exterior spaces. According to owner Frederick Ellis, the newly-rebranded Lake Street Bar plans to reopen the second week of April.

There are already some fun events planned. On April 18 is the inaugural Blues & BBQ Day Party; and tickets are on sale now for Saturday Night Special featuring the Keith Horton Band on May 29.

Over the Covid closure there have been a lot of changes made to the Lake Street watering hole, including bright new exterior colors and a new outside patio space. Once reopened, the space will be available for private rentals and parties.
