For the 31st year, the African-American History Parade will roll up and down the streets of Downtown Shreveport,  featuring floats, marching bands, dance units, beauty queens, elected officials…in short, all the things that make a parade a parade!

Temps are expected to be in the mid 60s with a chance of rain, so bring a raincoat, just in case. We’ve created this handy map to show you not only the route (Common to Milam to Edwards to Texas to Common and back to the Municipal Auditorium) but the different ways to avoid detours and road closures to get TO the parade.
