FOOD that will make you full just thinking about it! (No, we’re wrong. You really need to eat it…and there are so many options from which to choose!)

CHILDREN’S Activities abound and a lot of them are free!

There’s just no reason not to go and go again! Remember that on Thursday and Friday, admission is free until 5:30 pm. After that and on Saturday and Sunday, admission is $5.

Previous Story

Recently, RRR executive director Christy Long told me that folks don’t seem to realize what an amazing musical line up the Revel provides every year. She is right. If you take away the dozens of talented visual artists, the long list of food and beverage items, the myriad children’s activities, the Revel run and all the other fun Revel events, you are left with a Kick A** Music Festival with the best of local groups and an incredible combination of new and emerging national artists. The Revel Music Line Up ROCKS.

Where else can you go to hear Celtic Rock, Gypsy Punk Country Grumble Boogi, & Americana in the same night while swigging a Coca-Cola, slamming a Funnel Cake and topping it all off with a Grilled Pork Chop Sandwich? (We know that’s out of order, but it’s the Revel and you are encouraged to eat dessert first)! Where else can you go to be a part of the Album Release party for Shreveport’s own (but now nationally-known) Seratones?

Where indeed can you hear the likes local faves like Buddy Flett and The Joanitones, on the same stages with Bishop Gunn and Macy Kate? You can hear them ALL on the stages at the Revel. You MUST check out the Music Lineup Here. Seriously. You Must.

We think the Revel would be good to add ‘cot rental’ to their list of options so that true music lovers can just camp out for the entire week, all the better to have great seats for these truly amazing concerts, all included in the ridiculously low Revel admission price.
