509 Market was built in 1910 as the beautiful home of Commercial National Bank and was commissioned by Peter Youree (yes, he of Youree Drive fame) who wanted the most extravagant and remarkable building in north Louisiana. By all accounts, it was. In 2018, the building was transformed into 72 upscale apartments featuring covered parking, top level security, future office space in the building and a small dog park. Included in the mix are studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments from 334 square feet to 978 square feet.
