About Louisiana Botanicals by Wendell Wilson
In Louisiana Botanicals, folk artist Wendell Wilson presents a series of paintings inspired by the flora found along the Cane River in Natchitoches Parish. Wilson’s works, rooted in his memories of rural North Louisiana, offer a visual and poetic exploration of place and heritage. A self-taught artist and Vietnam War veteran, Wilson established the Wendell Wilson Folk Art Academy to promote folk art in his community. “I love my art like my children,” Wilson says, describing the deeply personal connection he has with each piece.
About Collaboratif: Magnum Opus Collection by James Nelson
James Nelson’s Collaboratif series, also known as the Magnum Opus Collection, embodies his unique approach to design and artistic expression. His abstract works are both highly personal and universal, with each piece intended to add originality and inspiration to any space. Nelson’s work, honed through years of experience as an interior designer and visual merchandiser, integrates vibrant color, texture, and form. “My art is an extension of my whole being,” Nelson shares, highlighting his dedication to creative exploration across various styles.
