The 600 block of Texas Street from McNeil to Louisiana, will be closed beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb., 22 until Sunday, Feb. 24 for the Robbys party at Robinson Film Center. Detours will be plentiful, please follow the signs. Also beginning at 8 a.m. Friday morning, meters along the block will be bagged for no parking.
The street is needed so that the giant party can spill out into a lighted tent and guests can walk a Hollywood-inspired red carpet. This fourth annual Robbys celebration is held annually on the eve of the Academy Awards as a fundraiser for the Robinson Film Center.

Yes, you read that right, a million-dollar necklace! We’ll have fabulous trips and experiences to bid on at our auction. And, not to be outdone by the Oscar ceremony the following day, we’ll also be handing out the coveted Robbys awards for Best Dressed, Best Couple, Best Bling and more!
