CineNoir: Black Voices in Film

Robinson Film Center, in partnership with Mahogani Media, proudly presents the 2025 CineNoir: Black Voices in Film series. The series will showcase and celebrate the rich and diverse tapestry of black culture through film during Black History Month. The weeklong event will feature studio released films, along with local and regionally made independent features, documentaries, and short films.

In Port-of-Spain, where the Black Rose crime family controls most nefarious and deviant activities in the city, a young boy longs for a normal life and a loving family. After being adopted into the household of a ruthless man and his unstable wife, he quickly learns that they are on a revenge killing spree against the powerful crime family and his new home is not as normal as he hoped.
