Laverne is a seasoned grant writer and fundraising professional with over 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. In addition to her public service and nonprofit leadership, Laverne served as an adjunct instructor at a local community college, where she has taught Grant Writing 101 and 102 for the past nine years.
