The countdown is on for the much-anticipated opening of PepitoXO @ artspace. Ads have gone up for servers, bartenders, line cooks, bussers and dishwashing crew for their new restaurant concept at artspace, 708 Texas St.
In addition, all the approvals have been granted for use of the sidewalk cafe that spills out under the awning on Texas Street.
Chef Pepito Munoz and his staff have been hard at work putting together possible dishes for the new menu, and they look pretty remarkable (see following story). Meanwhile, the bright red door at the entrance to PepitoXO has become the place to see and be seen (and get photographed, too)!

Story Dated July 7, 2022
In about a month, the new Pepito’s XO @ artspace hopes to open its doors. As they are waiting on various liquor and other licenses, Pepito and his staff have been enjoying a little ‘creative time’ in the Pepito’s XO @ artspace kitchen. Pepito posted the dishes on their Facebook page with temptingly little comment, so we don’t know if these dishes have actually made it to the menu, or what their ingredients contain. We only know they look yummy, which is the point, after all.
