Downtown Shreveport has lost two good friends in recent days, prominent Architect Richard LeBlanc and former City CAO and Administrator of Caddo Parish Judy Gallagher Durham. Both were strong supporters of the City Center. LeBlanc’s Architectural firm at 705 Texas Street has been a downtown fixture for years. Visitation for Richard will be on Sunday, February 23, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Osborn Funeral Home in Shreveport.
Judy Durham, Shreveport’s first woman CAO, was considered a trailblazer for women in North Louisiana. A visitation and celebration of life for Judy will take place on Saturday, February 22, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at The Glass Hat, located at 423 Crockett Street in Downtown Shreveport.
The staff and Boards of Directors for the Downtown Development Authority and Downtown Shreveport Development Corporation extend their deepest sympathies to the families and friends of Richard LeBlanc and Judy Durham. They served their community and downtown Shreveport well and will be missed.
