Calling All Young Artists: Kids' Holiday Art Contest in Downtown Shreveport!
Downtown Shreveport is about to get a little more colorful this holiday season! The Remington Hotel & Spa is inviting young artists from across the community to take part in their Holiday Art Contest, where creativity and festive spirit will take center stage.
This is a wonderful opportunity for students in grade 3 and older to showcase their talent and imagination. The theme for this year’s contest is “Holiday Magic” and we can’t wait to see how our community’s young artists capture the joy and sparkle of the season.
Contest Details
Theme: Holiday Magic
Who Can Enter: Students grade 3 and up
Mediums Accepted: Painting, drawing, or collage (any 2D original artwork)
Deadline to Submit: October 15, 2025
Why Participate?
Public Showcase: Selected pieces will be featured in a festive art display at the Remington Hotel & Spa, bringing holiday cheer to visitors and guests.
Community Recognition: Schools and students will be highlighted in promotional materials and social media.
Prizes & Certificates: Winners will be awarded special prizes, along with certificates celebrating their artistic achievements.
Even more exciting—winning artwork will also be featured around the Music Garage in Downtown Shreveport, adding a fun and youthful touch to the holiday atmosphere throughout the area.
This contest is more than just an art show, it’s a chance for our local students to shine, to have their voices and creativity celebrated, and to be part of the magic that makes Downtown Shreveport so special during the holidays.
