The inauguration of Shreveport Mayor-Elect Adrian Perkins and the 2019 Shreveport City Council is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 29 at 9:30 a.m. at the Shreveport Convention, Center, 400 Caddo Street. The inauguration is free and open to all. Business attire is requested.
Mayor Perkins’s inaugural committee is also hosting a black tie gala event at the Shreveport Convention Center Saturday night at 7 p.m. This is also a free, open-to-the-public event.
