The two great weeks of PrizeFest will be here before we know it! Mark your calendars NOW for Oct. 14-16, for Music and Fashion Prize, and Oct. 20-23 for Film, Food and Comedy Prize. The Top 20 filmmakers will be chosen TONIGHT at Robinson Film Center.
The local chefs for the Food Prize battle were chosen early this week. They include:

The chefs will battle it out for a cash prize and the title of Golden Fork Champion. The finals will happen at Prizes Fest’s Come and Get It to be held in downtown Shreveport during the second weekend of Prize Fest on October 21. For Come and Get It, each local chef will be paired with a visiting celebrity chef to collaborate to create what they hope will be the winning tasting.

The Fashion Prize Runway Showdown is planned for Sunday, Oct. 16 at Phoenix 2.0. The midday gathering will include brunch, the catwalk and the winning fashions!
