Circus tents will be going up soon on the downtown riverfront. The Venardo’s Circus will be in Shreveport for the first time ever March 4th-15th, playing at Riverview Park, 601 Clyde Fant Pkwy. Opening Night Tickets are 50% off for a limited time!
Performances are planned for March 4-8 and 11-15 at 7 pm, March 7,8,14 and 15 at 1 pm and 4 pm.
Created by former Ringling Bros. Ringmaster Kevin Venardos, this animal-free circus features a cast of aerialists, acrobats, comedians, jugglers, contortionists and daredevils hailing from around the world. Included will be a Broadway-style opening and closing with singing and dancing. Pre-show entertainment takes place one hour before showtime and patrons are encouraged to get there early.
The main event lasts approximately 90 minutes, with a brief intermission. Attendees are encouraged to stay after the show to mingle with the performers and take group photos on stage with the cast for no additional charge. Special Guest Ringmaster Johnathan Lee Iverson, the Last Ringmaster of Ringling Bro. Barnum & Baily circus will be the ringmaster for all shows in Shreveport.
Tickets are $5 more at the door than prices shown online, so buy early and save. Once shows sell out, there are no tickets available at the door.
